Shadow netWorkspace™ (SNS) is open source software using the GNU General Public License (GPL). The software can be freely downloaded and distributed under the terms of the GPL. The reason an open source license was chosen for the SNS project is because we want people to use the software and want the ability for people to contribute to the development of the software and to see those contributions used by everyone. Education is a public enterprise that benefits everyone. It is our belief that software to support education should be built, distributed and supported as a public endeavour.
